A LITTLE CEREMONY / FOR EVERYONE

One honour.
Every name.

Make a set of original paper rosettes for a workshop, volunteer team or family gathering. Enter the names once; save a self-contained print file with two personalised awards per landscape sheet.

Your names stay in this tab. Prepare a pack to preview its first sheet.

Each artwork is 100 × 155 mm, including its scale check. The finished ribbon is smaller than that rectangular artwork area.

A dozen people. Six sheets. One small rehearsal.

For a workshop with twelve helpers, use the same title so the awards recognise a shared contribution. Put one preferred name on each line. The file creates six sheets; “Alex” and “Morgan” occupy the first sheet, then the next two names follow. For five people, you get three sheets with one blank space on the last. No duplicate award is added to fill it.

Open the saved HTML in a browser and inspect every name. Select A4 or Letter landscape to match the pack, turn off browser headers and footers, and print page 1 at 100%. Measure both awards’ 20 mm lines before printing the remaining sheets. A browser print dialog may override the file’s paper preference, so check the actual preview.

Keep the words personal, even in a batch.

Use a shared title such as “MADE ROOM / FOR OTHERS”, then add a handwritten note to each award: “You moved your chair so the new person could join us.” If different people need different titles, make separate packs. The generator does not invent individual achievements or make a numbered ranking.

Names are limited to 24 characters and each title line to 18. A long name is rejected rather than silently cut short. Ask for a preferred short form, or use initials only with the recipient’s agreement. Repeated names remain separate awards and trigger a reminder to check the list.

Before the ceremony

Set one uncut sheet beside the saved name list and tick names off as you cut. Keep the measuring line outside the ribbon silhouette. Test the intended backing or envelope with one piece first; paper thickness and printer margins vary. The downloaded file contains recipients’ names even though no names are uploaded here. Keep it private if that list is private.
